About Paula:

I received my Bachelors in Communication from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, WA. After several years of international travel and non-profit fundraising work, I shifted directions and started graduate school. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Mars Hill Graduate School in 2005 and completed a one-year counseling internship at Compass Health Children's Extended Care, working with kids and adolescents. Following my time at Compass Health, I started a private counseling practice in Shoreline, WA and joined the staff at Mars Hill Graduate School as a Practicum Facilitator, training first year counseling students in marriage, family and individual therapeutic intervention through a personal and group format. I am currently a licensed-eligible Mental Health Counselor, registered in the State of Washington (#RC000050379). As well, I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Seattle Counselors Association (SCA).

I reside in beautiful Edmonds, WA with my husband, Jason, my daughter, Adia and chocolate Labrador Retriever, Sammie. I enjoy reading, good conversation, playing the piano, taking long walks, hanging out with my loved ones, and a good cup of coffee.
